  • Guess it has been a while

So, what to say.  Well, shortly after my last post, I moved in with my boyfriend.  Yes, I know what you are thinking, please don't say it.  I've gotten it all and more from my parents the past two years.  Anyway, we now own a house together.  A nice house, but I'm already seeing that it isn't big enough, especially as the children get bigger.  Don't remember what I said in the last post, but we have 4 beautiful children.  I've never met the oldest, and won't until 2018, at least.  Parental rights were severed just after I began dating Ross.  But the others are now: Raven, 5; Kaylynn, 4; and Alissa, 3.  Raven is a handful and a half, constantly getting into trouble.  He will hopefully start to settle down soon, as he will be beginning school in the fall.  First grade for him.  Kaylynn is a 13-year-old in a 4-year-old's body.  Very know it all and tempermental.  I see so much of myself in her.  Alissa is my pretty girl.  As much as I hate to admit I have favorites, Ali is mine.  Maybe because she was so young when I first met her, that she almost feels like mine. Idk.

My father died about a month ago.  Palm Sunday.  Still comming to terms with that.  I'd quit talking to them in January of '07.  Tired of always having to hear about their disapproval of my choices in life.  So, I hadn't talked to my dad in a year.  Then he was gone.  I never had a chance to kiss and make up like Daniel and Jenny did.  I didn't realize how much I'd missed him until he was gone.  Now I can never have that back.

I'm now an aunt two times over.  My sister and her husband now have two beautiful children.  Jaydrian Donell, and Emilya Minuet.  They are so precious.

Anyway, I think that is all I have to say for now.  I have a myspace, so look me up if you want.

  • Well, I guess I'm a little late for my usual monthly update.  Sorry about that, but life has been crazy the past couple of months.

For starters, things are changing at work.  As most of you know, the P.O. has different levels of employees.  te(transitional employee), ptf (part time flex), ftf (full time flex), ptr (part time regular), and ftr (full time regular).  It can take years to make it up each level.  Well, we recently aquired a new head boss dude, who decided to shake things up a bit.  He converted 100 te's to ptf, and made all ptf, ftf, and ptr's into ftr's.  Which means a whole lot of hours were taken away from the te's.  Very confusing and complicated, I know.  Suffice it to say I should be at work right now.  I was forced to clock out 2 1/2 hours early tonight, so I thought I'd take some time to update some of my friends about the changes in my life.

My hours and days off at work have changed.  I'm now working from 11:00 p.m. to 6:30. a.m. with days off being fri-sat and sun-mon.  Really sucks about the days off, but oh, well.  I'll try to change that when I find out what they are going to give my boyfriend.

Yes, you read right.  My boyfriend.  His name is Ross Jaeckel.  He is 28 years old.  We met at work around Christmas, and started hanging out together.  Since February, we've been sitting next to each other every night, all night, getting to know each other.  We've been officially dating now for about a month.  He is recentlly divorced, and has three children of his own, plus a step son.  Alexis, Kaylynn, Alissa, and Raven.  Lexi is six.  Kay is 2 1/2.  Allie is 18 months. And Raven is 3 1/2.  Very cute children.  I love them already.  I am kinda worried about becoming insta-mom, but with these children I'm not too worried.

For those of you who are in the area, I'm having a pampered chef party this Saturday at 7:00, my house.  If you are interested in coming, feel free.  Just e-mail me and let me know.  I'd say call me, but I have a new phone number, so I don't think you would reach me.  Check your e-mail or the group sites for my new number.  You know what I mean, and if you don't, you don't need to, so don't ask.

Anyway, I'd better close so I can get the e-mails sent off and update other sites.

    Love to all,

    Ted

  • Well, a lot has happend in a month.  I got my bed.  It is awesome.

Things are done with Daniel.  We talked for quite a while on the phone, but decided that it wasn't right, so we've parted ways.  You know, as content as I am to be single right now, I have to admit that it would be nice to have a boyfriend.  If for no other reason that to get everyone off of my back.  Not only do I have mom pressuring me about wanting grandkids, but the people at work are getting on to me too.

My life is so boring, I think that is all that has happend in the last month.

Well, I have to get ready for work.  Have fun!!

  • Once a month isn't bad.

Hmmm.  Update time.  What can I say?  Life is pretty much the same.  Still working at the P.O.  Still being stalked by one of the supervisors.

I did buy a new bed.  I'm hoping for it to come in tomorrow.  I've upgraded to a queen.  Yeah!  I can't wait!

Oh!  The same day that I bought the bed, I discovered that $200 had been taken out of my savings account.  That was fun.  Apparently, they misread the deposit slip of some one else and took his money out of my account.  Thankfully, they put it all back without a fuss.

Hmmm.  I went down to Oklahoma City to meet Daniel.  One piece of advice for all of you single people out there, don't ever go to a memorial for a disasterous, horific occasion, i.e. the bombing.  We had a good time together, but it was kinda hard getting to know each other over the shoes of the children that died there.  I think we were in tears more than once during that little date.  We are still talking though.  He will be comming up here sometime in the next couple of weeks.  I can't wait to see him.

To make Rachel jealous, I'm going to be going to the Chronical's of Narnia tonight at the drive in theatre here in wichita.  WooHoo!  I've actually never been to the drive in.  It should be fun, even if I'm with a bunch of married people.  Oh well.  Now I just have to get ahold of my usual date to such events and see if she (Kate) wants to join me.

  • maybe I should update more often

Wow, January 5th.  Seems like a life time ago.  So, to update all the friends in my life, here is my life.

I now have my weekends off, so I will be able to do more with ya'll.  I can't wait  I am about to try to start a "fresh out of college starting the career" group at church.  I'm not for sure how that will work out.  If anyone has any good ideas, I would welcome them.

For those of you who don't know, I have joined E-Harmony.  I am in open communication with a couple different guys.  One lives in Belle Plain, a town just outside of Wichita, and the other lives in Dallas.  Both seem to be very nice young men.  We'll see how they work out.

So, for my friends, I have a question for you.  Do you believe in speaking in tongues?  Why or why not?  One of (to quote my mom) "my young men" is Baptist, and doesn't believe in speaking in tongues.  I do, but I've never had it questioned, so I'm not sure why I believe.  Anyway, that is my major dilemma right now.  I would appreciate your prayers.

    Much Love,

    Ted
